Песня 'Spiderwebs' записывается в январе 2000 г., кроме того, сюжеты о музыкантах продолжают появляться  в прессе, на радио и телевидении. В июле выпущен альбом 'Parachutes', за который группа номинирована на музыкальную премию Меркурия. Были также выпущены несколько меланхоличные песни 'Trouble', 'Careful Where You Stand', 'Mince Spies', но наибольший успех группе принесла песня 'Yellow'.
